June 26, 2003 - Sideshow Collectibles has added two new 12-inch action figures to their series Oliver Stone's film Platoon: King and Rhah.

Both King and Rhah are limited editions of just 500 figures each, and both are web exclusives, sold only through Sideshow's web site. They will be shipping in September/ October 2003.

The King (portrayed by Keith David) and Rhah (portrayed by Francesco Quinn) action figures were sculpted by Mat Falls. Both come with loads of movie-accurate accessories and gear, including their "trademark" weapons: an M-60 for King and a "Rhah stick" with barbwire for Rhah. King's M-60 is metal, not plastic.

Previous action figures from Platoon are: Taylor, Barnes, & Elias (usually sold as a set of three), and Lerner and O'Neill (sold separately as web exclusives on Sideshow's site).
