San Francisco, California, September 08, 2003: Comic book publisher eigoMANGA will attend the first annual Japan Town Anime Faire (JTAF) in San Francisco, California running September 13 through 14, 2003. eigoMANGA executives from Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles(including the CEO) will be on hand to hold a discussion panel where fans and industry professionals will be able to ask questions and open engage in open dialogue directly with the company's leaders. eigoMANGA senior publishers will also debut a set of eagerly anticipated new publication series set for a retail release starting in October 2003.
eigoMANGA's publisher, CEO, and founder Austin Osueke will be at JTAF during the Sunday of September 14 from 11:00am to 12:00pm. He will be a part of the eigoMANGA discussion panel. He feels with this is an important platform and opportunity for the industry awareness and perception of eigoMANGA.
"For many years, fans and companies in the industry have been mystified with us to the point where they question if we're worth the effort to pay attention to. Because of our many projects that missed our branding objective over the years many people only have small bits or inaccurate information about us; and with it they form their perception about the company as a whole. THIS is a good opportunity for everyone in the industry to clearly understand what we are all about. eigoMANGA is not a whistle in the wind; we are here to stay and we will earn a substantial place within the comic book industry and in the hearts of the fans," says Osueke.
eigoMANGA has earned the industry acclaim for being amongst the first, innovative, and leading companies to produce dot-comics on the internet during the internet boom. eigoMANGA has long since moved out of being a web-based business and because of that the company now has an opportunity to earn addition recognition as being amongst the first and leading US-based comic book companies to create a new genre within the manga industry (Japanese-influenced comics): American manga. The company will officially announce the releasing of its premier publication series: eigoMANGA RUMBLE PAK and eigoMANGA IMPACT at the JTAF during its panel discussion forum.
eigoMANGA RUMBLE PAK is a monthly anthology comic book series portraying original manga stories created by American artists and creators; the series is due for retail release in November 2003. eigoMANGA IMPACT is a trade paper back series portraying original manga works created by international artist; this series is due for limited release in October 2003.
"We feel that the comics in RUMBLE PAK and IMPACT represent the advent of a new breed of talented American manga artists. The visually striking artwork and compelling storylines in these comic books will put to rest any to rest any stigma that Americans can't compete with Japanese manga," claims Osueke.
eigoMANGA's appearance at the Japan Town Anime Faire is the first of many major platforms that will break down the wall that kept the industry from clearly understanding eigoMANGA and that also kept eigoMANGA from portraying its full strength to the comic book entertainment world. "I can't wait! This is gonna work out great!" triumphs Austin Osueke.
