Monotone Dorbel figures

November 2003 - STRANGEco announces two new DORBEL figures by Jim Woodring, exclusively offered through two very fine retailers:

  • DORBEL in MONOTONE BLUE (Popsalute edition) � limited to 50 pieces, individually numbered. Available through Popsalute.com, December 2003
  • DORBEL in MONOTONE SIENNA (ABC Express edition) � limited to 50 pieces, individually numbered. Available on eBay exclusively through ABC Express

ABC Express and Popsalute's proprietor Andy Thong are two of the most established toy sellers of designer toys. Both have built their businesses reputations on eBay, which has been instrumental in exporting awareness about Hong Kong and Japanese designer toy culture.

Monotone Dorbel figures

These two new Dorbel colorways round out the production run, which feature six color variants:

- Dorbel in GREEN
- Dorbel in BROWN (HK edition)
- DORBEL in GRAYSCALE (Super-7 Magazine edition)
- Dorbel in PURPLE (special artist crossover, colored by Pete Fowler of Monsterism
- DORBEL in MONOTONE BLUE (Popsalute edition)
- DORBEL in MONOTONE SIENNA (ABC Express edition)
