BOLINGBROOK, Ill., Nov. 20 -- Under terms of a new licensing agreement, RC2 Corporation will produce die-cast model theme bikes created by the talented Orange County Choppers father and son team of Paul Teutel Sr. and Paul Teutel Jr. who are featured on the hit TV show, American Chopper. Rated the number one show on the Discovery Channel, the American Chopper TV series captures the dynamics of the Teutels as they fuse their skills and passions to build incredible, one of a kind custom choppers. The first product introductions are planned for April 2004 under RC2's JoyRide® brand.
"We're delighted to be working with Discovery Consumer Products and Orange County Choppers," said Curt Stoelting, Chief Executive Officer of RC2. "By showing, week by week, what it takes to build a custom motorcycle that's a true work of art, American Chopper has developed a passionate following among cycle enthusiasts and armchair fans alike. This licensing agreement allows us to tap into a very popular trend and expand the appeal to a new consumer."
