eBay's "Crazy for Collecting" Contest To Run From April 15 � May 15, 2004

WHO: Registered eBay members, whose passion for collecting is fueled by the site, can enter eBay's first annual "Crazy for Collecting" contest. Winners will receive a trip for two to this year's eBay Live! Community Conference held in New Orleans from June 24 � 26, 2004.

WHAT: Five winners - one from each of the following categories - will be deemed eBay's most passionate collectors: Stamps and Coins, Antiques, Pottery and Glass, General Collectibles and "Wildcard."

Each winner will receive round trip tickets to New Orleans, three nights hotel accommodation and complimentary eBay Live! registration for themselves and a guest. Winners will have the unique opportunity to display their collections at eBay Live! - where eBay users gather to share their passion for the Web site - and will participate in print and/or broadcast interviews.

WHEN: The contest begins April 15, 2004 and the last day to enter is May 15, 2004. Winners will be announced in early June.

HOW: To enter, contestants must submit a 250-300 word essay and digital photograph of themselves with their collection. Essays should address questions about the nature and extent of a participant's collection, how eBay has fueled their passion for collecting, how much time they spend on the site, and what their collection means to them.
