Gundam Fever is taking over. Ever since Gundam Wing debuted on the Cartoon Network's Toonami block on March 6th of this year Gundam has been turning into a phenomenon. Sales of existing product, most based on older Gundam series, have been impressive. Toysrus.com has sold out of their stock at least once already, and eToys has started carrying several of the model kits as well. Sales have been brisk at import dealers carrying Gundam products and this is all only the tip of the iceberg for this hot anime property.
This Fall Bandai will be releasing a line of Mobile Suits in Action figures in the U.S. based on Gundam Wing. Mobile Suits in Action based on the original Gundam, as well as Turn A Gundam, have been available for awhile in Japan, and through import dealers.
These detailed, super-poseable figures feature over 14 points of articulation and stand approximately 4.5" tall and most come loaded with accessories such as weapons, and extra hands (fists, or weapons holding).
Bandai's Gundam Wing Mobile Suit in Action figures are scheduled for a Fall release.
