Palisades Marketing, LLC ("Palisades Toys") designs, manufactures, and markets a variety of collectible products worldwide through sales to retailers and consumers. Formed by Horn in August of 1994, Palisades was conceived as a vehicle to provide marketing consultation to manufacturers of collectible products; however, in 1997, with Horn's realization that the staff had over 50 years of collective "toy experience" between them, Palisades shifted gears and began to focus on manufacturing goods of its own, rather than simply marketing the goods of others.

2004 will mark the dawning of a new age at Palisades. For the first time since its inception, Palisades Toys will begin to license trademarks, characters and other property rights of its own in connection with the sale of "Crittaz" action figures. "Crittaz" is the first wholly owned property that the company has developed with the intent of licensing to respective companies within the toy, gaming and entertainment industries. This new business endeavor will coincide with a yearlong celebration of the company's 10th Anniversary.

Maryland winners will be eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2004 national program. Winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., in November 2004.
