Power Rangers DinoThunder ATVs

CYPRESS, CA, May 14, 2004 Bandai America Incorporated's anticipated brand new line of Power Rangers all terrain vehicles (ATVs) will soon hit the streets, following the debut of the vehicles on the popular Power Rangers DinoThunder television series on May 22, 2004. The new toy vehicles are modeled after the ATVs appearing on the popular series for the first time ever.
"While the actors and story themes have evolved over the past twelve years, some things remain constant including the integration of the Power Rangers toyline with the TV series and the brand's core themes of teamwork and good over evil," said Bill Beebe, senior vice president, sales and marketing at Bandai America. "We're proud to continue the tradition of bringing the action of the TV series to life in kids' homes with the introduction of our exciting line of all terrain vehicles."
New to the Power Rangers lineup this year, each ATV includes a 5-inch action figure and features missile-firing action and a grappling hook and chain that can be deployed through the rear. The toys appear on shelves starting in August with a suggested retail price of $9.99.
After 12 years of protecting the Earth from evil space aliens, Power Rangers remains the number one boys action figure brand. In 2004, the Power Rangers morphed into a new exciting season that brought two of kids' favorite themes together Power Rangers and dinosaurs. Power Rangers DinoThunder debuted on the new JETIX action/adventure block, mornings on ABC Family and evenings on Toon Disney and also airs on the ABC Television Network's Saturday morning block, ABC Kids. To support the new series, Bandai America introduced a complete line of Power Rangers DinoThunder toys.
About Power Rangers
Over the past twelve years, the Power Rangers have been on Earth, in space, on the moon, under water, traveling through time, in the jungle and anywhere evil lurks. They've battled Rita Repulsa, Divatox, Master Org, Dark Spector, Toxica, Jindrax and many more evil-doers villains who have been shrunk to miniatures, tossed in jail reduced to ooze or banished. Over time, the brand has maintained its themes of teamwork, honesty, loyalty, courage, family, friends and above all, the victory of good over evil.
