LOS ANGELES -- June 3, 2004 -- Amazing Kids!(R) has kicked off its Second Annual Plush Toy Design Contest for kids and teens. The contest is once again being sponsored by Ty Inc., (http://www.ty.com), creator of the wildly popular Beanie Babies(R) and the leader in plush toys.
Budding young toy designers, ages 6-17, must create an original plush toy design and submit one to two drawings of the toy, a written description and a name for the toy to Amazing Kids! at: 1158 26th Street, PMB 485, Santa Monica, California 90403. The grand prize winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and a chance to work with a professional toy designer as their mentor for a year. Other winners will receive a box of Beanie toys from Ty. The winning designs will be featured on the Amazing Kids! website in mid-November, 2004.
