JAKKS: Even More Marvel TV Games

MALIBU, Calif., June 21, 2004 -- JAKKS Pacific, Inc. announced today that the Company has expanded its worldwide licensing agreements with Marvel Enterprises, Inc. to produce multiple additional TV Games(TM) products. In addition to top Marvel properties that include Spider-Man(TM), The Incredible Hulk(TM), Blade(TM), Daredevil(TM) and Ghost Rider(TM), the expanded agreement now includes the high-profile properties The Fantastic Four(TM) and Iron Man(TM).

The TV Games(TM) product is a plug and play gaming system that contains multiple games in one single controller. All that is needed are batteries and a TV -- no videogame consoles or gaming cartridges are required. Simply plug the TV Games(TM) product into the A/V jacks of any standard television set, turn it on and play! The lightweight, compact, all-inclusive controller houses a combination of videogames with all of the hardware and software built right in. This technology allows gaming fans to enjoy a number of videogames with just one single purchase.

"Adding these two top Marvel properties to our existing agreement further widens the reach of our TV Games(TM) brand with an even more diverse offering," said Jack Friedman, Chairman and CEO, JAKKS Pacific, Inc. "In addition to the activity titles for preschoolers and the retro titles for adults, we now have great fantasy characters for young boys as well."

According to Tim Rothwell, President of Marvel's Worldwide Consumer Media Group Division, "The Fantastic Four(TM) and Iron Man(TM) are both hugely popular character brands with a following that closely matches the demographics the TV Games products are targeting. The TV Games(TM) brand has been doing phenomenally well and we realized the benefits of continuing to add our best properties to the line-up."

These new TV Games(TM) products are expected to launch in 2005, with a
suggested retail price of approximately $20.00. Spider-Man TV Games are also expected to retail for approximately $20.00, and will be available at retail locations nationwide this October. For more information on JAKKS Pacific's TV Games(TM) line, please visit www.jakkstvgames.com.
