Five Star Stories first appeared in the monthly Japanese anime magazine New Type in 1986. Its deep-rooted plots and super robot action was perfect for fans of mecha-style manga and anime. In this 80-page issue, Mamoru Nagano's epic tale of the ongoing conflict in the Joker Universe continues! This next episode of the story - which is part epic space opera, part military drama, and part character study - brings together Christine V. and her Ladyship Mamadoa Juzotta, who are ordered to duel for the title of "highlander." Interestingly enough, Christine's refusal wins her the title. Five Star Stories maintains the original right-to-left manga format.
