TEMPE, Ariz., July 6, 2004 -- In January 2004, McFarlane Toys experienced a complete sell-out of its Houston event exclusive sports figures. Beginning this Friday, July 9 and running through July 13, McFarlane Toys will be in Houston for the John Hancock All-Star FanFest at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
McFarlane's Sports Picks officially licensed baseball product will be on display, and the company will be selling two exclusive figures: the Astros' Roger Clemens and Jeff Bagwell.
The newest Astros' star and future Hall-of-Fame pitcher "The Rocket" Roger Clemens, will be featured in his all-white home alternate uniform. The Astros' first baseman Jeff Bagwell figure will sport the midnight blue Houston jersey and the goatee he sported a few seasons ago. The figures will cost $15 each or $25 for a set. Both figures are individually packaged in a special All-Star clamshell container.
The McFarlane Toys booth will be located in the Collector's Showcase attraction, and will feature rare figure prototypes and a first look at the upcoming McFarlane Sports Picks MLB lines.
