Elkridge, MD (July 8, 2004) - Palisades will be set up in booth #3919 at the 2004 Comic Con International in San Diego, CA where they will showcase upcoming products and providing give-aways, as well as offer a fantastic selection of products available to purchase.
For the week of the show, Palisades will forgo its regular weekly on-line auctions to hold a live prototype auction, which will span the entire length of the show.
On Saturday, July 24th from 4-5 pm, Palisades will host a signing with Matt Maiellaro, one of the creators behind Adult Swim's "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" and Dana Snyder, the voice of Master Shake! Plus, Palisades will even auction off a prototype for the very first Adult Swim action figure EVER!
Guests of the show will be able to join Palisades' President & CEO Michael Horn and other industry insiders for a panel called, "The State of the Industry" on Thursday, July 22 from 6-7pm in Room 3. Additionally, Palisades Product Development Manager Kim Mattison will be appear on a panel entitled, "Behind the Plastic" on Friday, July 23 from 5-6pm in Room 2.
And, of course, Palisades will host another scavenger hunt -- the Quest for the Golden Weirdo!! The winner will walk away with one of only 12 "lifesize" Golden Weirdo statues ever produced!!
Fans can look forward to the exclusive SuperBeaker and Adventure Kermit action figure for sale at the booth. Plus, Palisades will have the following three Palisades Direct products available: the Blown-up Inspector Clouseau figure, as well as the debut of the Optimus Prime and Cobra Commander Mini Statues.
