SubCultures at Comic-Con

July 2004

SubCultures at SDCC: Meet Yasuhiro Nightow, CREATE-A-MATE, Get Ripped-off by Rex Ganon!

The Panel: SubCultures: Toy Revolution!
The Topics: Toys as Art, The Designer Toy niche, Easy 15 minute dinners that feed 5!

We are very lucky to have Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow joining us to talk about his wonderful company Toy Tribe and the cutting edge products of Kaiyodo. Then Let's all get bitter and talk about the things we hate! After that we'll take your questions and finally pay you off with free toys for enduring this boredom.

And this year we will be frisking the plebeians for rotten fruit. We don't need another Elizabethan volley of boos and food towards the panelists.

Saturday July 24th: 3:00-4:00 SubCultures: Toy Revolution! - The world of Action Figures and Toys is changing in monumental ways! Thanks in part to the emerging culture of Designer Toys, mere playthings are now considered WORKS OF ART!
