Tower's SDCC Exclusives & Signings

July 2004 - Tower is proud to be a part of the 35th Annual San Diego Comic Con and to spread the joy, Tower has several items sure to please attendees. In addition to the large selection of Designer Vinyl Figures, Hellboy Collectibles, and Free Giveaways, Tower also plans to debut at their booth, #4913, the following items exclusively at the con:
Ugly Doll Keychains - Artists and creators of the popular line of designer plush, David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim, have allowed Tower to launch the arrival of these cute little critters at SDCC. This will be your first chance to collect all nine of the loveable characters in mini form. Use them as keychains, backpack clips or friends but collect them all: Wage, Jerro, Cinko, Babo, Target, Tray, Ox, Icebat, and Wedgehead. Each character will be $5.99! We will also have regular sized Ugly Dolls as well as Ugly Doll T-shirts!!
Tranimals - Mr. Kat Plush - Artist Anh Tran's plush line - Tranimals - will make their debut at this years San Diego Comic-Con. Discovered by SubCultures back in the summer of 2003, these unique critters are hand stitched by the artist herself- no two are exactly alike. To celebrate their launch, Tower Records will host a super limited edition of 500 Mr. Kats. Mr. Kat will retail for $19.99. The rest of the Tranimals plush line - Mr Kat, Ninja, Bot, and Bunny - will be available exclusively at Tower Records in October.
Toy2R - 2" Fang Wolf Qees (Red and White Versions) - Qee Collectors beware, the Fang Wolf is loose! Tower proudly offers two different versions of this cool Qee. The WHITE version will be limited to only 500 pieces and sells for $10. The RED version has a slightly higher run and will be avilable for $5.99. Each figure is carded on a postcard designed by artist Touma. Come by and pick them up while checking out all of the other 2" Qees being offered in our booth!
Clobberin' Time Thing vs. Super Skrull Mini-Mate Set - The next, highly anticipated exclusive set of Mini-Mates from Tower will make a limited appearance at the con. Only 240 advance sets are being offered at the con before they are available exclusively at Tower in late August. At $5.99 each, these bad boys won't stay around for long!!
8" Hayon Digital Qee Bear - Designed by Jaime Hayon and produced by Toy2R, this exclusive 8" Qee bear will make its way to the con. Boxed in a full color package, this Qee is one of the more artsy Qees produced. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, this Qee will be available for $39.99 each. While at the both, check out all of the other 8" Qees and exclusive Knuckle Bears for sale!!
MAD*L Flame Vinyl Figure - This exclusive to Tower vinyl figure will make a limited appearance at the booth. Standing 5.5", this variant sports a firey flame pattern. As a bonus, the artist, MAD, will be in the booth to sign this figures for a limited time Saturday! Flame will retail for $13.99 each and will be limited to only 100 pieces at the con!
McFarlane 12" Alien & 12" Predator Figures - McFarlane has been so kind to give Tower a set of these beautiful figures to give away at the show. You want some prime meat, then these figures fit the bill. Stop by the booth to register to win one of the two figures and while you're there, check out the Clive Barker Banner. You just might lose your mind!!
If that wasn't enough Tower plans on Pimpin' and Hustlin' better than the rest. How? On Saturday make room for '70's main man, the Human Tornado.... DOLEMITE!! That's right, Rudy Ray Moore will be signing in the Tower booth on Saturday afternoon. You think you're bad, then meet him at the total experience, booth #4913!! It's DOLEMITE!!
