Comic-Con International, San Diego, CA (July 22, 2004) -- TOKYOPOP Inc. (Booth 3813) has tapped its biggest-ever lineup of creators, panels, games and goodies for this year's Comic-Con International. The #1 U.S. manga publisher will delight fans with five very special creator appearances, four must-attend panels and several ultra-fun manga-themed carnival games for prizes.
TOKYOPOP's celebrity creator agenda includes a very rare U.S. visit by infamous hip-hop manga creator, Santa Inoue, whose gangland epic Tokyo Tribes debuts in North American bookstores this September; the legendary Monkey Punch, creator of the internationally renowned Lupin III manga (also an anime on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim); revered manga creators Park Sang-Sun (Les Bijoux) and You Hyun (Faeries' Landing); and Studio Tavicat (ShutterBox and Reality Check).
And like last year - only even better! - a special Waldenbooks in-booth store will offer the latest TOKYOPOP goods. Read on for details:
