August 2004 - Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles, LLC and online retailer Time and Space Toys are offering collectors an exclusive action figure based on one of the most popular characters from the hit TV shows Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the Angel: "Beneath You" Spike Action Figure.

"Fans have been wanting brighter additions to their Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer action figure collections," said Time and Space Toys President Kevin Kriess. "We are happy to meet this demand with the blue shirt-clad, soul fully restored Spike as seen in the Season 7 Buffy episode, 'Beneath You.'"

Designed by Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles (who also produced the figures) and Gentle Giant Studios (who also sculpted the figures), and offered exclusively by Time and Space Toys, the figure depicts the vampire anti-hero (portrayed by actor James Marsters) as he appeared in the episode "Beneath You," and comes with a blue shirt, a Zippo� lighter, a cross with an altar, a rat, a stake, and a shovel. Standing approximately 6" tall, this figure � which comes with 16 points of articulation � is targeted for a late January release.
