The end of the world is just the beginning of this delightfully, off-beat series as hapless gumshoe, Lance Barnes, attempting to disarm an ICBM missile cuts the wrong wire and sets off World War III. The series follows the adventures of Lance and his one-legged secretary Peg through a post-nuke landscape full of unique and colorful cast of characters. Originally published in 1993 as part of Marvel's EPIC line of creator-owned comics, Lance Barnes: Post Nuke Dick became a cult comic hit and received much critical acclaim including Stan Lee himself calling the series "a wild reading experience" full of "amazing originality and off-beat humor. "You can learn more about Lance Barnes at the Moonstone Publishing website: www.moonstonebooks.com or at writer Stefan Petrucha's website: www.petrucha.com.
"It's great to be able to offer these copies of Lance Barnes as a give-away to our website visitors and as a reward to ICAA fan members for their support of our organization," stated ICAA Executive Director, Erik Enervold. "Even ten years later, Lance Barnes remains a fun and very unique series that remains as entertaining today as it was when it was originally published. We would like to thank publisher Joe Gentile and Moonstone for generously donating these books to us, and for their continuing support of the ICAA and our efforts."
