Shark Tale Toys at Burger King

MIAMI, FL September 28, 2004 Starting today, kids across the country will fin-agle their way into participating BURGER KING® restaurants to collect all 10 Shark Tale toys. The toys, inspired by DreamWorks' computer animated feature film, will be available in every Kids Meal over a five-week period, or while supplies last.

"We are pleased, once again, to partner with DreamWorks to bring Shark Tale beyond the theatre and into our restaurants," said Cindy Syracuse, senior director, National Promotions, Youth & Family Marketing, Burger King Corporation. "Kids should have plenty of fun with these 10 collectible toys that model the most appealing cast of characters, as they recreate the adventure at home both in and out of the water."

The promotion runs in conjunction with the launch of DreamWorks' Shark Tale set to swim into movie theaters on Friday, October 1, 2004.

A Tidal Wave Of Fun

Each toy captures the distinctive, dynamic, star-powered personalities of the Shark Tale cast of characters, including Spin Fin Oscar, a wind-up swimmer; Swim 'n' Spin Lenny, a wind-up swimmer; Aqua Dance Angie, a floating dancer; Excitable Sykes, a ball whose cheeks turn red when placed in cold water; Chase 'n' Chomp Frankie, a speedy pull-back racer and paper "chomper;" Ernie Dreadlock Top, a wind-up spinning top; Flip 'n' Stick Luca, with its suction cup fun; Bernie Bobblehead, a light-up bobblehead; Fashion Fin Lola, a spinning, light-up diva; and Play 'n' Spray Whale, a swimmer and water-dousing spout.

Waves of Advertising

This BURGER KING® promotion will be featured in kid-directed advertising, in-restaurant merchandising, birthday mailers to BK® Kids Club members, the BURGER KING Adventures Newsletter and a micro site at www.burgerking.com.

About DreamWorks' Shark Tale

Oscar is a fast-talking little fish who dreams big. But his big dreams land him in hot water when a great white lie turns him into an unlikely hero. At first, his fellow fish swallow Oscar's story hook, line and sinker and he is showered with fame and fortune. It's all going along swimmingly, until it starts to become clear that Oscar's tale about being the defender of the Reef is all wet. Oscar is finding out that being a hero comes at a Market Price when his lie threatens to make him the Catch of the Day. Now he has to tread water until he can get the scales to tip back in his favor again.
