NEW YORK -- October 18, 2004 -- 4Kids Entertainment, Inc. and Wendy's Restaurants have teamed to launch a national Kids' Meal program promoting MONSTER JAM(R), Clear Channel Entertainment's popular motor sports franchise.
Roaring into gear October 18, 2004, the four-week promotion features MONSTER JAM-inspired trucks in Wendy's Kids' Meals while supplies last. Kids can collect all four: BLUE THUNDER(R), BULLDOZER(R), DESTROYER(TM) and PREDATOR(R). In addition to the truck premiums, Wendy's also is providing two different full-color MONSTER JAM themed Kids' Meal bags featuring a special $3.00 discount coupon from Clear Channel that can be used toward the purchase of an adult admission to any arena event during the 2004/2005 season.
MONSTER JAM draws more than 3.5 million spectators to more than 300 live stadium and arena events throughout the year. With their giant wheels, these 10,000-pound, 1,500-horsepower trucks cause maximum destruction, flying, flipping and flattening anything in their path to the delight of kids of all ages.
The MONSTER JAM promotion is available to all 5,500 Wendy's Restaurants in the U.S. and Canada. For each participating restaurant, Wendy's will create a local television spot featuring MONSTER JAM trucks. Wendy's is supporting the MONSTER JAM promotion with in-store merchandising (in-store displays, tray liners/activity sheets, coloring sheets, drive-thru signage) and exposure on both the Wendy's (www.wendys.com) and MONSTER JAM (www.ushra.com) Web sites.
