December 2004 - Two great new trading figure sets based on two of the most popular new anime series will be on retailers' shelves soon, and both are available exclusively in North America through Diamond Comic Distributors!

Though anime has been a fan favorite medium for many years now, it seems like the more time passes, the more popular it becomes. Franchises such as Gundam Wing and Dragonball Z have had huge fan bases that continue to grow. To keep the form fresh and fans satisfied, new series are regularly being created, and most quickly attain popularity. Among those series are Mai HiME and Onegai (Please) Friends. Fans of these and other anime can celebrate the popularity and intensely appreciated art style of anime with the Mai HiME Trading Figures and Onegai (Please) Friends Trading Figures.

Imported from Japan by CM's Corporation, the Mai HiME Trading Figures depict characters from the new anime series from Sunrise. In this series, Mai and her brother are traveling on a ferry, which becomes the site of a destructive battle between two girls wielding supernatural powers. Mai discovers that she too can wield these powers, known as the HiME. The assortment contains six figures, each with two color variations, including Mai, Natsuki, Nao, Mikoto, Fumi, and Mashiro. Scheduled to ship in April 2005, this series comes in special "mystery box" packaging, for a more adventurous collecting experience.

The Onegai (Please) Friends Trading Figures - also imported from Japan - feature characters from the new side story to the hit series, Onegai Twins. This assortment includes six figures, each with four swimsuit color variations! Scheduled to ship in June 2005, this assortment is ideal for fans of the Onegai series.
