Dynamite Entertainment launches one of the most anticipated series of the year with the crimson haired warrior goddess, Red Sonja!

Written by two of the best writers working in comics today - Michael (Thor) Avon Oeming and Mike (Ultimate Elektra, Lucifer) Carey and illustrated by up and coming superstar Mel Rubi, Red Sonja #0 also features two great colorists completing Sonja's world - Richard (Origin) Isanove with Caesar (Sojourn) Rodriguez!

In this introductory issue � featuring 15 pages of story and art, all for a quarter (have we mentioned that yet? Let's all say it together: "All For a Quarter!") � Sonja enters a town with no name and a Red Storm enters with her!

Featuring a gorgeous cover by Greg (Phoenix Endsong) Land on issue #0, future covers for the ongoing Sonja series will feature an all-star array of artists from Alex Ross, JG (Wanted) Jones, Michael (Fathom) Turner, Art Adams, Joseph Michael (Dawn) Linsnser, John (Astonishing X-Men) Cassaday, Adam Hughes and additional all star cover artists for this 5 star heroine!

Dynamite is also planning a series of special promotions for the launch of Sonja #0, including an incentive cover for retailers � featuring a "sneak peek preview" of Alex Ross's cover image to Red Sonja #1 and inclusion in Dynamite advertising.

Select Retailers who order 1,000 units of Red Sonja #0 and 300 units of Red Sonja #1 will be featured in a future Wizard advertisement promoting Red Sonja as being available in their store. Dynamite will also be generating awareness for the launch with advertising in Comic Shop News (PLUS a cover story) and premiere online comics site Newsarama has also committed to featuring Red Sonja as the lead story with a full week of creator interviews!
