Harsh Light of Day Spike PALz
|
Elkridge, MD (February 3, 2005) - Palisades Toys is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Inkworks and Fox Licensing & Merchandising to produce a limited edition Buffy the Vampire Slayer™ PALz figure. The PALz - "Harsh Light of Day" Spike™ - will only be available to those collectors who find the special PALz redemption card in Inkworks' upcoming "Spike: The Complete Story" trading card set.
The third episode in the fourth season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "The Harsh Light of Day" was memorable because it marked Spike's return to Sunnydale, to find the fabled Gem of Amara; but more importantly (to some fans, anyway) it was the first opportunity to get a glimpse of a shirtless Spike.
Palisades celebrates "William the Bloody" with this limited edition "shirtless" Spike PALz figure, which is being produced in extremely low quantities, and will never be made available via retail or wholesale outlets. Redemption cards for the special "shirtless" Spike figure will be inserted into packs of Spike: The Complete Story at a rate of one per case. (1 Card - Inserted approximately 1:432 packs).
The "Harsh Light of Day" Spike PALz figure will not be available for distribution until Mid-March, but collectors who acquire the Redemption Card may send it in at any time, and the PALz will be shipped when they become available.
