AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL TOY FAIR, NEW YORK, February 7, 2005 -- University Games, an international game and toy company celebrating its 20th year, today announced the release of its latest blockbuster board game "CAN YOU BEAT KEN?" The first licensed product with recent Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings, the game challenges players to battle wits against the greatest television game show contestant of all time.
With the goal of reaching $2,600,000 before Ken Jennings does, the board game "Can You Beat Ken?" challenges players to answer trivia questions from a wide range of subjects that are sure to stump even the brightest scholars. Ken might know the chemical symbol for iron (FE), but does he know the name of the drummer in the rock n' roll band Guns 'N Roses?
"With this new and exciting game, players are truly playing against the champ: We are asking Ken Jennings over 500 different questions, in subjects ranging from science to science fiction. This new game is sure to be one of the biggest blockbuster hits of 2005," said Bob Moog, president, University Games.
