February 11, 2005 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc., makers of the popular Mage Knight™, HeroClix® and MechWarrior® collectable miniatures games (CMGs), announced they are auctioning a limited-release 2005 MLB™ SportsClix™ collector's tin to raise funds for the American Red Cross' tsunami relief efforts.
"This collector's tin brings the four silver-based Hall of Fame players together," said Mike Samora, WizKids® vice president of Sales and Marketing. "The odds of pulling these players from Game Packs are pretty low, so this is a way for collectors to expand their collections while helping a great charity relief effort."
The auction will be hosted on Ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5956367420.
