ReSaurus Debuts Whirlgirl Prototype

 For the past month Hasbro's Star Wars site has been conducting a poll, allowing fans to choose a character who will make it into the 2001 Star Wars action figure line. Hasbro announced the winner of the poll today: Duros (or Duro), a denizen of the infamous Mos Eisley cantina.Duros beat out other aliens such as Amanaman, Eeth Koth, Teemto, and Bom Vimdim. Amanaman was a close second in the poll, which saw nearly 100,000 responses. Could the leafy alien see his own figure one day soon? "We know that many fans have been patiently waiting for a new Amanin for a few years now." Hasbro says on the site, "And while we don't have anything in the works at the moment, your voices are not going unheard."
