On May 25, 1977, the world of science fiction films was turned upside down with the release of 'Star Wars'. Inspired by the epic films of Kurosawa and John Ford, visionary director George Lucas launched what would soon become both a genre classic and a cultural phenomenon. To date, the Lucasfilm 'Star Wars' franchise has produced two sequels, three prequels (the third will hit theaters next month), cartoons, comic books, music, toys, books, clothes, video games, and just about every other conceivable collectible, from coins to costumes. On April 21st, 2005, the Indiana Convention Center, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, will be the location for one of the biggest celebrations to ever be held in honor of the upcoming arrival of the final installment in the legendary 'Star Wars' saga. Thousands of attendees and dozens of exhibitors have already reserved their passes, and you should too! Sideshow Collectibles will be attending this monumental occasion, our first year as an exhibitor, located at booth # 331. We will showcase our complete series of 'Star Wars' 1/4-Scale Premium Format Figures.

Constructed of a variety of mediums including polystone, metal, fabric, leather and plastic, these high-end, extremely limited edition collectibles stand 18-inches tall. They combine cloth fabrics and synthetic leather materials with hand-sculpted accessories, weaponry and unique display bases to showcase these museum-quality collectibles. The exhibition will include 1/4-scale Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, plus the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

As a special bonus for all attendees of this fantastic celebration, Sideshow Collectibles will unveil the newest addition to the 'Star Wars' 1/4-Scale Premium Format Figure series, a new character from 'Star Wars' Episode III � The Return of the Sith.

Sideshow will also be handing out free promotional DVD's that includes a narrated feature that focuses on the production of this highly acclaimed series, a PDF catalog containing Sideshow Collectibles newest catalog - accessible by a PC or Macintosh DVD-ROM, plus our complete "Obi-One with the Force" April Fool's Day joke including the short-film and alternate ending.
