McFarlane Toys to attend GI Joe '05 Convention
See us at Heroes in Action June 24-26 in Minneapolis
Breaking news: Just when you thought we couldn't possibly rack up more frequent flier miles, the spawn.com road gang has added another show to our summer convention schedule. McFarlane staffers will be attending our inaugural GI Joe Heroes in Action convention. The 2005 event is taking place at the Marriott City Center in Minneapolis, MN, June 24-26.

Todd McFarlane weighs in on the creative process
Since this update will be the beginning of many, I thought it would be entertaining and useful to start at the initial stages of the Spawn: Animation project and take you through some of the different steps that will be worked on. Some of this information and visuals will be very interesting, while other pieces might seem a tad boring, but all are necessary. The reality of animation is there are so many components that need to be addressed and so many details that need to be taken care of in bringing a script to life, that you might be amazed at how intricate it all is.

McFarlane and Marder to speak in Tempe, AZ
Changing Hands bookstore hosts graphic novel discussion
Spawn creator Todd McFarlane and Beanworld creator (and president of McFarlane Toys) Larry Marder will be the guests of honor at the Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, AZ, on Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m. The two are speaking as part of the store's ongoing "The Art and Commerce of the Graphic Novel" series.
