Elkridge, MD (June 28, 2005) - With the San Diego Comic Con rapidly approaching, Palisades Toys would like to take this opportunity to remind collectors that they have an opportunity to secure those hard-to-find exclusives in advance. At 12 PM EST today, June 28th, three of Palisades 2005 San Diego exclusives - the Transformers 6-inch Megatron statue, the Alien Micro Bust, and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Wild at Heart" Oz PALz - will be made available in limited quantities only to members of the Palisades Toys Collectors Club.

All three of these exclusives have been limited to production runs of 500 pieces, and all are certain to sell-out at the show.

"We've never done a pre-sale before," commented Palisades President and CEO, Michael Horn, "Traditionally, we sell [convention exclusives] to the Collectors Club after the show, but with the limited edition runs on these three pieces, we saw fit to give our Collectors Club Members a 'head start.' They continue to support us, and although the pre-sale does not guarantee that every member will get these exclusives, it's our way of giving our most vocal, most supportive fans a better chance."

An undisclosed allotment of the 500 piece production runs will be made available to members in the Collectors Club shopping cart at 12 PM EST on Tuesday, June 28th. They will remain available to the Collectors Club members until the predetermined pre-sale allotment is sold out, or until 12 PM EST on Thursday, June 30th. Collectors Club members should be aware that although purchasing the exclusives during this pre-sell period does guarantee that they will receive the product, the merchandise will not ship until following the San Diego Comic Con International, sometime during the week of July 18th. A limit of two (2) of each exclusive per club member will apply.

"If you are not a member," adds Horn, "It's not too late to sign up. If you visit the Palisades website and sign-up for the Club today, you will have access to the pre-sale, so long as quantities remain."
The pre-sale in no way implies that the product will not be available at the San Diego Comic Con. These are convention exclusives, and a generous stock will still be available at the show.
