Breaking news: Several months ago, we officially announced that the spawn.com/McFarlane Toys road crew would be attending Comic-Con International 2005 in San Diego from July 14-17. Today the story gets better. Spawn creator and McFarlane Toys founder Todd McFarlane will attend the Con, too.

VOICE-CASTING FOR 'SPAWN: ANIMATION'
The Work Begins in Auditioning Voice Talent for New Project

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been knee deep in voice casting for the animated show, which is no easy task. In animation, the voice of the character is extremely important as it must convey many of the subtleties that are difficult to portray in the animated body language of a character. It's not easy to get the subtlety of a raised eyebrow or a snide look; sometimes those similar emotions can be delivered more easily through verbal expression.

Sometimes you just can't wait any longer. We feel like that about lunch at Red Robin, zombie movies and Spawn Series 28. The sculptors and painters and photographers in our New Jersey Design are working to finalize all eight figures (six clamshells and a two-figure deluxe box) in the series.
