Palisades Toy brings the multi-talented Engima to the San Diego Comic Con

Elkridge, MD (July 7, 2005) - Palisades Toys is proud to announce the first of its guests for the 2005 San Diego Comic Con - The Enigma! Best known to fans of the X-Files as "The Conundrum" from the episode entitled "Humbug," the Enigma is an eclectic performer who has wowed audiences world-wide with his various acts and artistry.

At the tender age of fifteen, The Enigma began sword-swallowing... and he hasn't stopped since. He was a founding member of The Jim Rose Circus (which toured the world from 1991-1998) and has since graduated to producing his own variety shows. His act includes the deft blending of music - he plays a blue puzzle-piece shaped guitar, to match his flesh - and sideshow stunt ingenuity.

The Enigma's additional credits include appearances on "Penn & Teller's Sin City," "Sally Jessie Raphael," "Ricki Lake," "Ripley's Believe It Or Not," as well as documentaries in North America, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and South Africa. He's appeared at the opening act for the likes of David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails, and has performed at the NFL Super Bowl Commissioners Ball and a birthday party for Ozzy Ozbourne.

Additionally, he has appeared (twice!) in National Geographic magazine!
The Engima will be on hand Sunday, July 17th at the San Diego Comic Con to sign an exclusive, limited-edition (500 piece run) version of "The Conundrum" PALz figure from the first series of Palisades' X-Files PALz. He will be signing from 10 am - 12 pm, and again from 2 pm - 4 pm. Fans can purchase their "The Conundrum" PALz at any time throughout the convention.
