WizKids Player Community Chooses MechWarrior Army Builder Sets and HeroClix Collector's Sets!
December 2, 2005 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc., creator of the runaway hit games HeroClix® and Pirates of the Spanish Main™, is proud to announce the winners of the polls for MechWarrior Army Builder Kits and HeroClix Collector's Sets!
"One of the things WizKids values most is the input and passion of our fans," said Mike Samora, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at WizKids Inc. "They turned out in record numbers for these votes, with undeniable and outstanding results." Polls ran on the WizKids website asking fans for their input in creating these sets. Tens of thousands of votes were recorded.
The second MechWarrior Army Builder Set will feature units loyal to the Republic of the Sphere, and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to members of the MechWarrior Officer's Club. The second and third HeroClix Collector's Sets will be Indy HeroClix: Invincible and DC HeroClix: Alien Green Lantern Corps. respectively.
The sets will be available for purchase in the summer of 2006.
