FANtastic Exclusive Voting Update

Animal Warrior: the Minotaur

December 19, 2005 - The Four Horsemen have announced that the winning scale in the third round of voting for their 2006 FANtastic Exclusive was the 6-inch scale. This means that the 7th Kingdom's Animal Warrior: Minotaur action figure will be around seven inches tall, as he is a taller character.

Round 4 voting is now open - in this round, fans will be choosing what kind of articulation to give the Minotaur. Round 4 is in several parts, because in addition to deciding how much articulation there will be, the voting will also decide what kind of articulation each joint will have.

In addition to posting Round 4, the Four Horsemen have also posted the first of several planned FANtastic Features: this first one is several design sketches of characters from the 7th Kingdom. Be sure to click on the small images to get a new window with a larger image and a short explanation of the sketch.

Four Horsemen Announce FANtastic Exclusive Round 4 Voting!

FANtastic Exclusive 2006 round three voting has been decided! In a landslide decision, over two thirds of the voters chose to have the winning figure produced in a six inch scale. That will put the Minotaur figure at around seven inches to be in correct scale with a six inch line.

Of course the end of round three can only mean the beginning of round four. As of today, Four Horsemen Toy Design Studios are proud to announce that Round 4 voting is officially opened! This round will give voters the chance to choose the type of articulation that they want to see on their figure. Things will be a little different in this round. Because of the way things are set up, this vote will decide a few things at once. Not only will you be deciding the number of points of articulation the figure will have, but also what type of joint that each of these points consists of.

And as if round four voting wasn't enough, this week will also be the premiere of the Four Horsemen's first online FANtastic Exclusive 2006 feature FANtastic Feature: Volume 1! Stop by the website for a behind-the-scenes look at some of the early designs and sketches that helped the shape the Seventh Kingdom characters shown on the site. This will be the first of many features including sculpture progress shots of the Minotaur that will be appearing in the very near future.

As always, the Four Horsemen encourage you to stop by and share your opinions in more specific detail in the forums. They will be checking it on a regular basis, so please come and share your ideas and opinions. In some respects, what the Four Horsemen read in the forums is as important as the vote itself when they are trying to get a feel for what you guys are looking for in an action figure. Once again this is a project designed to let you guys, the hardcore fans, make the big decisions. So please spread the word and make your opinion count!

It's not to late to change the ways toys are made. Come by http://www.fantasticexclusive.com and get things done your way.
