April 2006 - eBay has launched eBay Express (www.ebayexpress.com), a new web site found within the eBay marketplace that gives experienced merchants of new and fixed price merchandise a new way to reach buyers. eBay Express delivers a shopping experience geared to what we call "convenience-oriented buyers" who typically buy new items and want to make their purchases quickly, without waiting for an auction-style listing to end.

All of the Collectibles categories will be available on Express at launch, including Decorative Collectibles, Art & Antiques, Sports & Entertainment Memorabilia, Coins & Stamps and Toys.

Added Listings Exposure

eBay Store and fixed price Collectibles listings that qualify will automatically appear on both ebay.com and eBay Express, unless a seller chooses to opt-out. Merchants will benefit from the additional exposure at no additional cost and without having to list their inventory twice or change their selling methods.

Highly-Qualified Sellers

eBay Express is open to U.S.-based eBay merchants of new or never-used merchandise who offer an immediate, fixed price ("Buy It Now") items, accept PayPal, have a successful selling history on eBay with a feedback score of 98 percent positive or greater, and accumulated feedback of 100 or more. eBay's Feedback system represents the seller's reputation based on their eBay transaction history.
