Pawtucket, RI (April 2006) � The Star Wars galaxy is full of characters who set out on a quest to find something of great value: Boba Fett searched for Han Solo in order to secure a valuable bounty from Jabba the Hut; Luke Skywalker set out to return his father to the light side; and now, Star Wars fans have a chance to embark on a similar search to capture the crowning action figure of any collection: a limited edition George Lucas in Stormtrooper Disguise tribute figure.

Beginning this April, fans are invited to participate in the "Star Wars Ultimate Galactic Hunt" to secure a limited edition George Lucas Stormtrooper action figure, which will not be available at retail locations. To obtain the prize, collectors and fans must tap their inner Jango Fett and search for the new Star Wars vintage figures.

"As the architect of the Star Wars galaxy, George Lucas has entertained millions of fans with his classic space saga of good versus evil," said Derryl Depriest, brand Director for Hasbro's Star Wars division. "The new action figure allows Hasbro to honor Lucas, the greatest character in the universe."

In order to partake in this unparalleled hunt, collectors must find and mail five proof-of-purchase stickers (plus shipping and handling) from the new vintage figures in order to obtain the George Lucas figure. The assortment of classic KENNER-style figures will include Luke Skywalker in X-Wing Pilot outfit, Han Solo in Trenchcoat, Greedo, Biker Scout, and Sand People.

In addition, throughout the spring, special limited edition "Silver Foil" packaged figures will be available at retail locations. This prized variation, ideal for the die-hard Star Wars collector, includes a foil package, a special vac-metal silver foil display base, and a silver-painted version of the hologram figure. There will be 10 different Silver Foil figures in this line. These include: Darth Vader, Han Solo (w/Carbonite), Boba Fett, Snowtrooper, AT-AT Driver, Commander Cody, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, General Grievous, and Scorch (from Star Wars: Republic Commando).

For the true bounty hunters, several store exclusive figures are available this May as well. Toys 'R Us will feature the Clone Wars Gunship and The Hunt for Grievous Battle Pack. And Target will offer The Demise of Grievous super-premium 3.75" figure and Skirmish in the Senate battle pack.

The approximate retail price for Vintage figures is $9.99. The approximate retail price for the basic figures is $6.99. Figures will be available at mass merchandise locations nationwide. All figures introduced as part of the "Star Wars Ultimate Galactic Hunt" will have a special foil sticker that call attention to their inclusion in the hunt.
