Naruto CCG: Coils of the Snake Launch Events

Cypress, CA. 7/12/06 - The Naruto CCG's second expansion: "Coils of the Snake" will launch exclusively in the hobby on July 28th. Launch events are right around the corner and Bandai want to make sure that any and all hobby stores able to host a sanctioned Launch events can do so.

"Coils of the Snake" Launch Kit

A "Coils of the Snake" Launch Kit will be shipped free to every hobby retailer that schedules a Launch Event in the next two weeks. The kit will contain this exclusive Japanese Alternate Language version of Series #2 Ninja (N-075) "Giant Snake" as well as a t-shirt depicting the card for the winner of the event.

In order to receive the kit, launch events must be scheduled on the new Organized Play website by Bandai Meijin (volunteers). Any hobby store owner or player affiliated with a hobby store that is interested in becoming a Bandai volunteer or Meijin simply need to go to the link (http://naruto.gamersroundtable.com/) and click "Apply to be a Meijn (Tournament Organizer)" and then follow the process. After which, schedule your event at your shop and you are ready to go!

It doesn't stop with the "Coils of the Snake" Launch events. July/August tournament kits will be sent free to all hobby stores that have tournaments scheduled for these months. These new tournament kits contain 4 new exclusive promo cards (2 Japanese Alternate language cards, one Series #3 preview card and an exclusive Kakashi Promo card) as well as 4 different play mats for the weekly winners! New tournament kits will appear every two months, but only to approved Meijin and hobby shops.

Becoming a Meijin and hosting approved tournaments will prepare you for the yet to be announced "Premier Season" for the Naruto CCG. This season of premier events will include several levels of tournaments that allow a player to progress from a Beginning Level Ninja to a Master Ninja and perhaps the ruler of Ninja, the Kage! These will be reflected in monthly qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and national qualifiers all culminating in the North American Championship in August of 2007.

Meijin themselves will be rewarded for their efforts, earning the right to advance through different levels of judging while at the same time, receiving exclusive Naruto promo items, such as an exclusive Meijin play mats for the Naruto CCG.
