HUNT VALLEY, MD - August 11, 2006 - Today Genki Wear, LLC [Genki Wear] announced the acquisition of the licensing rights to manufacture and distribute prop replica jewelry based upon Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel from Fox Licensing & Merchandising. The first products in this special collection of licensed replicas will be available for pre-ordering through select retailers beginning August 1st 2006 with product expected to be on retailer shelves by October 15th, 2006.

Genki Wear's launch piece will be Anyanka's Power Center Amulet and Necklace Prop Replica, followed shortly thereafter with the Slayer's Cross Necklace and either the Gem of Amarah Ring or a set of high-quality Claddaugh Rings as worn by Buffy and Angel, just in time for Valentines Day.

Genki Wear hopes to build upon the great success that previous Buffy jewelry license holders experienced. McGonigle added, "Although this is second time the Slayer's Cross Necklace has been produced, with strong retail support, we hope to produce a limited edition, high-quality solid sterling silver version the Buffy collectors have been demanding."
