Families are invited to take part in the 50th "birth-doh" festivities by visiting any of the 47 Snip-its salon locations to participate in hair-raising, fun-filled, in-store PLAY-DOH-themed activities and the opportunity to enter the "Celebrate with Style Sweepstakes," where one lucky family will win an exciting, vacation to Beaches Resorts – the Caribbean's #1 ultra all-inclusive luxury resorts for families.

Beginning September 5, children who visit any of the 47 Snip-its salons nationwide will be included in exciting PLAY-DOH- themed birthday party festivities. Before or after their hair cut, kids can play with a variety of PLAY-DOH products, including the FUZZY PUMPER CRAZY CUTS playset, where they can practice their own barbering and stylist skills using the toy's multiple, interchangeable head pieces and hair shaping tools. The PLAY-DOH "FRESH IDEAS" BOOKLETS, a custom display piece created by Hasbro, will also be on hand, showcasing how kids can create some of their favorite Snip-its characters out of PLAY-DOH compound.
Once their hair cut is complete, kids trade in a lock of their freshly cut hair to the Snip-its' "Magic Box" a cool contraption that through "magic," turns kids' hair into a prize. In exchange for their freshly cut locks, children will receive a one-ounce can of PLAY-DOH compound to continue the celebration at home.
Celebrate with Style Sweepstakes!
While in the Snip-its salon, families are encouraged to enter the "Celebrate with Style Sweepstakes." Parents simply fill-out the entry form and drop it into the entry box by October 10, 2006. The grand prizewinner of the "Celebrate with Style Sweepstakes" will receive an all-inclusive five day/four night vacation for a family of four at a Beaches Resort of their choice in Jamaica or Turks and Caicos. In addition to the one grand prizewinner, three first-prize and ten second-prize winners will receive prize packages featuring Play-Doh products and Snip-its hair care products and gift certificates.
