RC2® Corporation Announces a New Licensing Partnership With Nickelodeon
Toy Vehicles and Playsets to Feature Dora The Explorer; Go, Diego, Go; The Backyardigans; Blue's Clues and SpongeBob SquarePants
OAK BROOK, Ill., Sept. 6, 2006 -- RC2 Corporation announced it has entered into a new multi-year licensing agreement with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products. RC2 will include Nickelodeon's most popular shows and characters: Dora The Explorer; Go, Diego, Go; The Backyardigans; Blue's Clues, and SpongeBob SquarePants on die-cast toy vehicles and playsets.
RC2 plans to market these products under its Johnny Lightning® and Take Along™ by Learning Curve® brands. Initial shipments under the Johnny Lightning brand are planned to begin late in 2006. The Take Along by Learning Curve product line is planned for shipment in the second half of 2007.
