DEUCE ANNOUNCES COLLABORATION WITH TODD MCFARLANE ENTERTAINMENT
Vancouver, BC (October 5, 2006) - Jason Dussault, Owner/Designer of Vancouver fashion company DEUCE CUSTOM INK, announces that Todd McFarlane Entertainment, Inc., owned by the creator of Spawn and producers of animated television, feature films, music videos and electronic gaming projects, will be doing exclusive graphic designs for DEUCE clothing. Todd McFarlane Entertainment has also created a new character based on Dussault and his DEUCE wheels. The character is "DEUCE THE DESTROYER" with his ride "THE PREACHER," which will appear in Spawn.
Dussault says, "Some of my favorite forms of art are from the pages of comic books and the top of my list has been Todd McFarlane and the artists from Spawn. Todd has been a personal inspiration of mine and I have told his story 100's of times to my staff and colleagues. It is a true story of success from the ground up. I was thrilled when I met Todd this past year as he is my inspiration both as an artist and a businessman. Since I have been working with Todd McFarlane Entertainment, the President Terry Fitzgerald has also been a source of inspiration. These two collaborations are hopefully the beginning of a long relationship."
Terry Fitzgerald, President and COO of Todd McFarlane Entertainment, states, "When presented with the opportunity to collaborate with DEUCE CUSTOM INK, Todd and I were only too happy to say yes. Jason Dussault has an eye for design with enough edge and forward thinking, attention to detail and aggressiveness to make it big in the world of fashion. Our first cooperation, the creation of the DEUCE character, was a success and we look forward to continuing this relationship into the future."
