WIZKIDS RELEASES TWO BOARD GAMES: OSHI AND PIRATES: QUEST FOR DAVY JONES' GOLD
October 25, 2006 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc., creator of the award-winning Tsuro™ board game, announced today the launch of two new board games: Oshi™ and Pirates: Quest for Davy Jones' Gold™.
"We are excited to increase WizKids' board game lineup with these great new titles," said Joe Hauck, executive vice president of Sales, Marketing and Product Development at WizKids. "Each game represents the simple elegance that has made not only Tsuro, but also our other games, such hits."
Oshi (MSRP USD24.95), which means "push," is inspired by a Japanese myth in which the goddess Amaterasu gifted the first Japanese emperor with her ancient wisdom in the form of a game. It is a strategy game for two that can be played in 15-20 minutes. Oshi is available in game stores everywhere.
Pirates: Quest for Davy Jones' Gold (MSRP USD24.95) turns the nautical action of the Vanguard-award winning Pirates constructible strategy game™ into an exciting board game for two or more players. Nothing less than the souls of good pirates everywhere are at stake as players take to sail, avoid sea monsters and hunt for the treasure of Davy Jones himself! Pirates: Quest for Davy Jones' Gold is available in game stores everywhere.
