First 4 Figures: 2000AD License Announced
October 27, 2006 - First 4 Figures is extremely proud to announce a licensing agreement with 2000AD for the rights to create statues and prop replicas based on the characters from the 2000AD universe.
"With the likes of Judge Dredd, Rogue Trooper, and the ABC warriors, there are some absolutely great characters to work with," says Alex Davis, director of First 4 Figures. "The 2000AD universe has grown so rich in its history of almost 30 years and it is fantastic that we've got the opportunity to work with some of the characters."
First 4 Figures will be basing product development on the artwork of some of the many artists that have worked on 2000AD's colourful character roster. Product line up includes but not limited to statues, bust, scaled replica weapons and scaled helmets. There are also plans for a versus diorama line up, with the first being Judge Dredd versus Judge Death.
Expect product preview around early 2007.
