November 2006 - Electric Tiki, in association with 20th Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising is proud to announce the 10th show in their "Tooned Up" Television series, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
"I am a huge fan of Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and am excited to get the opportunity to re-interpret the Buffyverse in animated form," says Electric Tiki founder Tracy Mark Lee. "I'm also excited because it's the most current show we've added to our "Tooned Up" line. Buffy has a huge fan base and we hope they will be open to our unique take on these beloved characters. It will be a fun line."
The series will start with Buffy of course, but we are looking for character suggestions from the fans as well. One possibility is to release a hero and a big bad at the same time. If this is not feasible a singular release pattern will happen. Please check our website, www.electrictiki.com for preliminary concept sketches. Final concepts will be posted upon approvals.
