Tamagotchi Electronic Board Game

Bandai America Inc. & Pressman Toy Corporation Unveil New Tamagotchi® Electronic Board Game

The Creator of the World's First & Top Selling "Virtual Pet" Tech Toy Expands its Licensing Program into the Games Category

(Cypress, CA - January 10, 2007) - Everyone's favorite Tamagotchi characters Mametchi, Memetchi, Kuchipatchi and more are set to invade the world of board games in Summer 2007, as Bandai America Incorporated - the inventor of the world's first "virtual pet" - has granted Pressman Toy Corporation the games category license.

"We're excited to be partnering with Pressman Toy, one of the first games companies to incorporate popular licensed properties, to further extend our licensing program and give our fans more ways to interact with their favorite Tamagotchi characters," said Michael Riley, vice president of marketing, Bandai America Inc. "This comes at a time when our loyal fans have continued to make our latest Tamagotchi Connection toy the best selling virtual pet in the industry."

According to Jim Pressman, president and chairman of the board, Pressman Toy, "Bandai America's Tamagotchi line has been one of the biggest selling products in toy history. With this new board game, we at Pressman Toy have created a truly authentic, yet new Tamagotchi experience for its legions of fans."

The electronic board game by Pressman Toy allows fans to "live the Tamagotchi life 24/7" by re-creating the experience of raising a virtual pet. The 2-4 player game for ages 7 and up features a unique electronic "Tamascreen," which allows owners to select meals, snacks, toys and more until the first person to raise their character into adulthood wins. The game, as well as 100-piece Tamagotchi puzzles, will be available throughout the U.S. and Canada starting in June 2007.

Pressman Toy joins a number of other Tamagotchi licensees, including NAMCO Bandai Games (video games for Nintendo DS), Bandai America's Network Entertainment (mobile games), and GALERIE, which recently debuted its line of Tamagotchi character plush with delectable candy at Kmart stores.

About Tamagotchi Connection
Originally launched in 1997, the egg-shaped Tamagotchi - which simulates the life cycle of a real pet - went on to sell more than 40 million units worldwide and created a brand new toy category within the industry. Bandai America reintroduced the brand in 2004 with a new and highly popular infrared technology "connection" feature, thereby creating stronger-than-ever consumer demand among young kids and adults alike. In fact, more than 25 million units have been sold globally since then, demonstrating the renewed strength of this now ubiquitous brand.

A recent finalist in the Toy Industry Association's Toy of the Year Awards (T.O.T.Y.) for Electronic Entertainment Toy of the Year, Tamagotchi Connection V3 arrived in 2006 and introduced fans to the magical world of TamagotchiTown.com. While using "Gotchi Points" and special passwords, visitors can go online to shop in the mall, visit with their virtual pet's parents, meet the Tamagotchi King, and even travel the world to exotic destinations.
