Clear Guardian Force Figures Coming Stateside

  Palisades Marketing has a bonafide hit on its hands with its Final Fantasy series of products. The latest batch to reach the U.S. are already a hot commodity and a second series is due to hit in the first quarter of 2000. We spoke with Mike Horn, Palisades' President, about the line and its future."It's doing really well for us. The Final Fantasy property has a great fan base and they have been very supportive of the line," said Horn. We were recently made aware of a set of variant Guardian Force figures that were done in clear plastics. We asked Mr. Horn about this set and the possibility that we might see it here in the U.S. "The clear Guardian Force figures were a Japanese exclusive. However, we were able to adjust our license to be able to bring the clear versions into the States. We are not quite sure how we are going to bring them to market yet, but we are definitely looking for a way to allow the fans to get these cool figures," said Horn. So there you have it!
