MECHWARRIOR: SOLARIS VII RELEASES TODAY!
August 8, 2007 (SEATTLE) - WizKids Inc. announced today the release of the MechWarrior®: Solaris VII set, which brings the combative drive of the MechWarrior universe to another level. The thirst for eternal honor and glory will lure MechWarriors from across the Inner Sphere to the gladiatorial splendor of the Solaris VII arenas.
The MechWarrior: Solaris VII game features a new system to handle the nuances of 'Mech™-on-'Mech combat. These rules - complementary to the rules of the MechWarrior: Age of Destruction game - enable Inner Sphere combat in its most elemental form. Solaris VII creates a quicker game experience and rewards those who do not fear pushing their 'Mechs to the limit.
MechWarrior: Solaris VII is available in four Action Packs (MSRP $29.99). The Light-Class Action Pack contains eight light 'Mechs, eight gear cards and eight pilot cards. The Medium-Class and Heavy-Class Action Packs each contain six 'Mechs of the respective class, six gear cards and six pilot cards. The Assault-Class Action Pack contains four assault 'Mechs, four gear cards and four pilot cards. Each also contains one exclusive 24? x 24? map that can be added to the maps from other Solaris VII products, as well as complete Solaris VII rules.
MechWarrior fans who want to experience the risk and action of the Solaris VII arenas can attend the very first Solaris VII Combats tournaments, debuting at Gen Con Indy 2007 on August 16. Convention information can be found at www.wizkidsgames.com.
