fw_booth.jpg - 32931 BytesFlatt World Figures was showing off their impressive line-up of 8" cloth-costumed, fully-articulated collectors figures at their Mid-Ohio-Con booth.

Flatt World Figures had several items on display, including Bela Lugosi as Dracula (already released), Antonio Banderas as Zorro, Lee Falk's The Phantom, Dr. Frankenfurter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Samaritan from Astro City.

Each figure features 24 points of articulation, masterful sculpting and intricate costume detailing.

Flatt World produces high-end collectors-oriented figures that retail around $60. That may sound like a lot... until you hold one of their creations in your hand and see all the incredible work that goes into making each figure.

While speaking with the folks from Flatt World we took the opportunity to get an update on their shipping schedule.

This rather provocative picture (above) of the Bela Lugosi figure, sans clothing, shows the detail and articulation of the body-mold Flatt World uses in it's figures.

The head shown here on the Antonio Banderas as Zorro figure is not the final head. A new head has been sculpted that will be used on the actual figure.

Don't worry about Zorro being lonely. Flatt World will also be making Elena (played by Catherine Zeta Jones in the Mask of Zorro) into a figure in late 2000.
