The Street Fighter figures are available in both their Player 1 and Player 2 colors schemes, and judging from the reactions at the convention both seem to be just as popular!
The ReSaurus gang also brought along carded samples of the soon-to-be released Sonic Adventures line, as well as test shots from The Tenth and Magic the Gathering.
Commanding attention, however, was the massive 2-up sculpt for Sagat from the next series of Street Fighter due for release in 2000.
2-ups of the the Street Fighter Junior (Spring 2000) assortment was also shown
Stealing the show, as always, was the ever-present and now-infamous Monkeyhead!
The Monkeyhead has become a fixture for the ReSaurus crew when on the road and it has literally traveled the world over. It is something of a convention tradition to have your picture taken kissing the Monkeyhead.
Lives were changed at the Mid-Ohio-Con just by being in the presence of the Monkeyhead.
Now Sonic's star is on the rise again thanks to the September launch of the Sega Dreamcast system. Sonic Adventures was one of the initial games available at launch and Sonic is ready to reclaim his post as company mascot for Sega.
With all the attention the Dreamcast, and Sonic Adventures, has been getting from both the videogame press and mainstream media this new toyline looks to be extremely popular. As fast as Sonic is, expect him to zip right off store shelves!
Marty Egeland (artist of Adrenalynn, one of the characters featured in The Tenth toyline) stopped by the ReSaurus booth to sign The Tenth posters for his throngs of adoring fans.
Marty is a veteran artist, having worked on Aquaman for DC Comics and Star Wars for Dark Horse. His Adrenalynn mini-series (along with The Tenth creator Tony Daniel) is in comic shops now.
