Palisades Marketing
Palisades Marketing had an impressive booth at this years Con that was even more impressive then their offerings at Toy Fair. Palisades is actively bucking the perception that they are "only an importer" with several properties being developed in-house from Rising Stars and Fathom to the recently announced House of the Dead 2 and Resident Evil.
In addition to developing their own product lines, Palisades will continue to offer the most exciting figures from Japan as well. Front Mission 3, the first figures from which should be appearing domestically very soon now, should strike a chord with the legions of giant-robot fans out there. Extremely cool figures, indeed.
Palisades is a company that is on the threshold of breaking out in a big way. There are extremely exciting things afoot. Keep watching. More great things are coming your way from Palisades Marketing.
Palisades' biggest surprise was the announcement that they have acquired the license to produce Resident Evil action figures (in addition to their previously announced statues). The first series is in development now and will feature Jill Valentine, Nemesis, Nosferatu and a Soldier Zombie with zombie dog.
And if that's not enough zombie action for you, Palisades will also be producing an action figure line based on Sega's House of the Dead 2 video game.
