In a surprising move, ReSaurus has announced that it has taken over the Mech Warrior license previously announced by Palisades Marketing. The change of plans is reported to be generated by the licensor. It is reported that the switch in plans is an amicable passing of the torch between the companies.
ReSaurus is showing two sample Mechs at Toy Fair, but these designs should not even be considered prototypes, but are rather simply sales samples to provide the mass market buyers some visual representation of what a Mech Warrior line might consist of. Even so, these early designs look pretty faithful to the game itself and were created very quickly by the talented ReSaurus staff. We are pleased to be able to bring you the news and your first look at what the new line might entail.
